Tata Safari Gold Edition has been launched in two color options of White Gold and Black Gold.
The Tata Safari SUV, which is currently seen in color options of Royal Blue, Tropical Mist (New), Daytona Grey, Orcus White and Tropical Mist Adventure, gets a ‘Midas Touch’ along with a new All Gold Edition. This new version sits above the existing Safari variant. It is also more expensive than the Safari Adventure trim.
Tata Safari Gold Edition Prices
The new Safari Gold Edition is priced at Rs 21.89 lakh for the manual and Rs 23.18 lakh for the automatic. In comparison, the XZ+ ADV trim costs Rs 20.59 lakh and the XZA+ ADV trim costs Rs 22.02 lakh. All prices are ex-sh. This indicates that the Gold variant is Rs 1.3 lakh more expensive than the existing Safari top trims.
The Tata Safari Gold Edition will also be showcased in the 2021 IPL in the UAE. In the last season of IPL, it was Tata Altroz which was the official partner for the cricket tournament. The association is now being extended, this time with Tata Safaris being the official partner of the 2021 IPL. The Indian Premier League (IPL) matches will be played in the UAE from 19 September to 15 October 2021.
Tata Safari Gold Edition – Design Update
Speaking about the New Safari White Gold – it is derived from the premium Frost White colour, which provides contrast to the black and white. The black ceiling adds a unique dual tone appearance that draws attention at first glance. Adding to this, the glossy Mont Blanc marble finish mud pad with subtle golden accents creates an endless atmosphere of serenity and luxury.
The new Safari Black Gold avatar sports a coffee bean-inspired black exterior. It has golden accents on its exterior. The black gold interiors complement the exteriors with a dark marble finish mid pad and a combination of golden flavors throughout the cabin.
Oyster White Diamond Quilted – Genuine leather seats, offering ventilation in both the first and second rows, the interior is further enhanced with premium features like wireless charger, air purifier, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay over WiFi, making it the most impressive variant Is. Safari yet.
Other features will remain the same as seen on the current model and will include an 8.8-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, 14 functionalities with advanced ESP along with Boss Mode to enhance ride comfort.
The 2021 Tata Safari Gold Edition will sport the automaker’s Impact 2.0 design language and OMEGARC architecture, which is derived from Land Rover’s D8 platform. Safety equipment includes cruise control, 6 airbags, cornering stability control and reverse camera.
When it comes to the 2021 Tata Safari Gold Edition, there will be no change in the mechanics. It will continue to be powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine that delivers 170 hp of peak power at 3,750 rpm and 350 Nm of peak torque at 1,750-2,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6 speed manual and 6 speed torque converter automatic transmission. The Safari competes with the MG Hector Plus, Hyundai Alcazar and the Mahindra XUV700 is going to be launched soon.
