Salman Khan’s father and well-known writer Salim Khan has recently advised Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan to retire. Salim has said in a recent interview that Amitabh has achieved a lot in his career and he himself has worked with him in more than 10 films. Salim says that now Amitabh should take some time for himself as well and free himself from the hustle and bustle.
‘must be freed from the race’
Amitabh Bachchan recently celebrated his 79th birthday. Meanwhile, an interview of Salim Khan has come in tremendous discussions. Talking to Dainik Bhaskar, he has said that ‘Amitabh Bachchan should now retire. Whatever he wanted to achieve in life, he has achieved everything. A person should keep some years of life for himself also. Amitabh has played his innings professionally very well. He has done a good job and now he should free himself from the race and take a graceful retirement.

‘No longer good scripts’
Salim said in this interview- ‘The system of retirement is so that a person spends some years of his life according to his good. With the beginning, studies and learning are spent, then the responsibility of the family comes on you. For example, my world is limited now. All the people I go on walks with are from non-film backgrounds. He said- ‘Amitabh Bachchan was the hero who could play the role of Angry Young Man, who is still the same today. But now there are no stories worthy of an actor like him, we don’t have good scripts.
